Inspiration
I admired sapphire for all its unique qualities. Sapphire has been prized as a great and powerful gemstone since 800BC. For some the sapphire’s blue color is representative of the celestial heavens, believed to protect its wearer from harm, and bestow upon them great wisdom and luck.
Adding unprocessed sapphire to my raw collection was exciting and upon their arrival I was excited to get started designing jewelry.
Right from the beginning I wanted to incorporate a piece of sapphire into a ring which would make the gemstone truly stand out – this would require a unique setting. The setting was born as admired a piece I held between my thumb and forefinger.
This sapphire ring emulates that loving grasp while projecting a sense of awe and excitement – allowing you to properly admire and enjoy all the amazing qualities of this gemstone that is deliciously bookended between two silver nuggets.
The open design of the ring gives the sapphire’s ample room to be appropriate appreciated.

Symbolism & Mystical Properties
- Traditionally, sapphires symbolize nobility, truth, sincerity, and faithfulness. Royalty often wore sapphires for dual purposes. Not only did the stone reputedly attract wealth, it also purportedly protected the wearer from envy and infidelity.
- Traditionally, people attributed to this gem the power to bring harmony between lovers as well as peace between adversaries.
- Supposedly, the stone increased the wearer’s overall strength and health, thus warding off illnesses and nullifying poisons. Many believed sapphires aided healing.
- For centuries, sapphire has been associated with royalty and romance.

Our gold jewelry is custom made just for you. We stock limited amounts of gold, so in many instances we may need to acquire for our New York City based supplier. This may add 2-3 additional days to the total production time.
Gold orders are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned. We recommend placing an order for silver first to ensure the size and design are perfect for you. Then, the silver piece can be exchanged & applied to your solid gold version.
